Raden Adipati Wira Tanu Datar VIII (Raden Jenon) is the last regent districts Limbangan after changed its name to Garut district by the Governor General of the Dutch East Indies on May 7, 1913.
Raden Jenon was the oldest son of Raden Jayaningrat / Raden Abas / Surianatakusumah / Wiratanudatar VII (Limbangan Garut Regent 1833 -1871 AD) from the marriage with Nyi Rd. Mantria son Rd.Dirapraja bin Rd. Mangala Raja bin Rd. Raja Pangaras (descendants Dalem Aria Wirayuda Cipicung).
Raden Jenon is one of the famous regent who ruled for 44 years, from 1871 to 1915. Because of his services to promote the area, he was named Officer in de Ore van Oranje Nassau a gold star award from the Dutch East Indies. Since then, he was known as " Dalem bintang ".
