Makan Bajamba ( Minangkabau ) Indonesia

Makan Bajamba is tradition to eat together in one large plate, this tradition has been handed down to the present in minangkabau. the purpose of makan bajamba is to improve silahturahmi and togetherness of tribes with other tribes as well as their fellow citizens in the village, ellipse and nagari. makan bajamba usually held at a wedding, the celebration batagak panghulu, ( melewakan gala ) or at a time when mutual assistance and other events.

Usually before  " Makan bajamba "  start, the janang question by cross-nan bapangka ( host ), whether the dish on each jamba already strongly enough. because basically each jamba, good sauce / slde dishes, dringkin water in the glass and in the pot should be readily available on the spot. likewise has added rice is also served.

" makan bajamba"  has its own manners or ethics. Guest who participate makan bajamba must be placed according to function such as sumando ( law ) mamak home ( Host ) friends samo sieve ( playmates ) and others. bribing rice should not be with a great grip, take the rice to be with his fingertips, so its not scattered rice ( rimah ) it's good clenched rice before eating. likewise, when a bribe right hand, the left hand has bee prepared under the chin with a view to accommodate a jumble of rice

then " makan bajamba "  implemented jointly, makan bajamba for men sit cross - legged on the floor surrounding the tray ( usually also wear a banana leaf ) and facing each other. and for the women sit cross - legged, facing each other well. makan bacamba most 6 people in each group including janang to add rice and side dishes taht felt less.

One Of The unique Traditions That exist in west Sumatra ( Indonesia ) is tabuik Party, Tabuik Celebration is a tradition of the people of pariaman, west sumatra ( Indonesia ) to commemorate the death of prophet muhammad's grandson, hassan and hussein the procession is usually held for one week at the peak of the so-called " Hoyak Tabuik " was held on the 10th Of Muharram every year. one sentence of pariaman and Tabuik is a Poem Reads : " Pariaman Tadanga langang batabuik mangkoyo hemp"

tabuik feast is usually people from all over the west sumatra pariaman will meet to watch " hoyak tabuik " not only from west sumatra , those who watched the procession of the feast of tabuik even come from abroad .  pariaman this annual event is always awaited every year .
